About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Administrator supports the Quality Department by coordinating quality activities, maintaining documentation, tracking data, and assisting with audits, testing, and customer/supplier communication. This role ensures quality processes are consistently followed and that quality-related data is accurate, organized, and effectively communicated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide day-to-day administrative quality support to Operations to ensure consistent application of quality standards and procedures
• Assist in identifying and communicating quality risks or concerns related to part specifications, tolerances, materials, and processes
• Support Engineering, Quality, and Operations with manufacturability reviews and special characteristic identification (as directed)
• Act as a support function in reinforcing MWNA’s commitment to quality across departments
• Assist with Safe launch activities, including tracking containment and documentation
• Support activities, including documentation and coordination of pre-launch and trial production monitoring
• Assist in the preparation and submission of PPAP documentation and customer-specific requirements
• Support review and tracking of production readiness and capacity data
• Conduct and document internal audits (process, product, layered)
• Support supplier audits as directed
• Assist in maintaining audit readiness for internal, external, and customer audits
• Perform duties in accordance with MWNA’s Quality Management System requirements
• Perform and document lab testing and inspections as required
• Ensure proper recording and organization of inspection and test results
• Collect, maintain, and organize quality data (scrap, defects, PPM, trends, etc.)
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality charts and reports
• Review data and escalate recurring issues to Quality and Management teams
• Review and track customer complaints and quality concerns
• Assist with investigations, documentation of corrective actions, and follow-up activities
• Access and monitor customer portals and scorecards; notify appropriate team members of concerns
• Coordinate communication and follow-up between internal teams regarding customer issues
• Maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics
• Track supplier corrective actions and support follow-up on improvement activities
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action documentation
• Support tracking and verification of corrective and preventive actions
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or quality environment preferred
• Strong organizational and data management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Ability to follow standardized processes and procedures
• Strong communication and attention to detail
