Physio Physical Therapy & Wellness, an H2 Health company, is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our outpatient therapy clinic in Asheville, NC. This role supports daily front office operations and helps ensure a positive, efficient experience for every patient.

This position is responsible for patient scheduling, front desk operations, insurance verification, and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Requirements

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed
• Collect co-pays and maintain accurate patient records
• Enter and update information in EMR systems
• Support daily clinic operations and coordinate with clinical staff

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or front desk role preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with insurance verification and scheduling preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills required

• Full-time position
• On-site in Beckley, WV
