Position Overview & Job Description:The Decoration and Custom Project Lead is responsible for managing decoration and custom packaging projects from concept through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and coordinates with internal teams and external decoration partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards.This position is especially well-suited for individuals with experience in packaging development, product management, or packaging decoration workflows, particularly those who have collaborated with external design teams, print vendors, or decoration suppliers. It is ideal for someone who can work independently within established guidelines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively across departments and with external partners. You will support semi-custom and fully custom projects, supplier coordination, pricing, and lead time management while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
Project Coordination· Act as the primary liaison for clients seeking bespoke decoration and custom services.· Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and our network of decoration partners to ensure successful project execution.· Develop, track, and maintain project timelines while providing transparent communication on project progress.Artwork Management & Decoration Partner Selection· Engage with clients to understand artwork, decoration techniques, and project requirements.· Recommend appropriate decoration partners and methods based on customer needs, cost, timelines, and quality standards.· Negotiate and confirm agreements with decoration partners to ensure alignment with pricing, lead times, and quality expectations.Pricing Review & Estimation· Prepare decoration and custom project estimates based on company margin models.· Coordinate pricing with suppliers and decorators to align with customer budgets.· Review final invoices against initial quotations and purchase orders to ensure pricing accuracy.Lead Time Management· Monitor and manage lead times for decoration projects, proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays.· Coordinate with the purchasing team and customers to anticipate forecasts and ensure product availability.Supplier Coordination for Semi & Fully Custom Projects· Manage semi-custom and fully custom projects to ensure customer specifications and vision are achieved.· Identify and collaborate with local suppliers and European headquarters for custom glass, closures, and non-stock items.· Maintain a focus on quality, efficiency, and supplier performance.Communication & Collaboration· Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams, clients, decoration partners, and suppliers.· Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide regular project updates.
Skills & Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, preferred, but not required· Proven experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in packaging, decoration, or manufacturing.· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· High attention to detail and commitment to quality.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.· Adaptable and fast learner, able to manage changing priorities.· Familiarity with decoration processes such as screen printing, spray coloring, and hot stamping.· Knowledge of graphic design software and Salesforce is a plus.
Requirements· Availability to work on-site at the Carson, CA office a minimum of four days per week.· Flexibility to take early morning calls (7:00am–8:00am PT) with European teams as needed.All hours worked, including early morning calls, are compensated in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.
