About This Position

About the Role:

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing large and national accounts, ensuring that client needs are met with tailored solutions and exceptional service. The Account Manager will identify opportunities for new business development within existing accounts and collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to expand account portfolios. By strategically managing customer accounts, the role contributes directly to revenue generation and long-term client retention. Ultimately, the Account Manager acts as the primary liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, specifically handling large or national accounts.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic account plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in inside sales or regional sales environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and expanding customer accounts.
  • Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications or training in sales and account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with large and key accounts to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute account development strategies to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with inside sales and regional sales teams to coordinate efforts and achieve national account goals.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and prepare regular reports to communicate progress and forecast future sales.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
