About the Role:

The Welder 3 position is a skilled trade role focused on performing advanced welding tasks to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components. The Welder 3 will work closely with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures to deliver high-quality results. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal welding training program or apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional welding experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to pass welding certification tests relevant to the job requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and welding procedure specifications to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect welded joints for defects and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet quality standards and codes.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan welding sequences and troubleshoot fabrication or repair challenges.
