About This Position
The CCE Machine Delivery Specialist is a critical part of the sales department, acting as a subject matter expert on equipment operation and a key resource for both sales representatives and customers. Responsibilities include conducting machine walkarounds, reviewing service schedules, and providing hands-on and classroom training on features such as Grade Control, Payload, and E-Fencing. The role supports machine demos, startup procedures, and troubleshooting in collaboration with service teams, while also ensuring MSHA compliance through task-specific training. By bridging technical expertise with customer engagement, this role helps drive satisfaction, safety, and long-term equipment performance.

Education Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct thorough machine walkarounds with customers and operators, highlighting service points and safety features
- Review service schedules and oil sampling procedures, providing sample kits when applicable and ensuring customers understand warranty-related requirements.
- Deliver comprehensive operator orientation, including controls, switches, and integrated technology setup such as Grade Control, Payload, and E-Fencing.
- Complete delivery documentation, onboard customers to manufacturer apps and provide customers with relevant contact information for their Product Support and Inside Sales Representatives.
- Support machine startups and demos and assist service departments with operational troubleshooting.
- Conduct operator and service training sessions, both in the classroom and hands-on, for groups of six or more; travel several weeks per year is required.
- Maintain readiness to adapt to evolving equipment models and technologies through continuous learning and certification.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required. Salesforce and DBS experience is preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Candidates must be able to pass a background check, physical examination, and drug screening. The role requires extended periods of standing and physical activity, often in outdoor environments and on active job sites.
Work Environment:
This position requires regular work on customer job sites in varying weather conditions, both locally and during extended travel periods throughout the year.
Employees must adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by site conditions.
Caution and situational awareness are essential when performing on-site services to ensure personal and operational safety.
