  • This individual would be primarily responsible for responding to both online and phone orders from both wholesale and retail clients, as well as assisting our Back Counter sales demands, as needed.
    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
  • Assists all guests (retail, wholesale and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
  • Informs guests of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
  • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Provides high level of service to internal and external guests.
  • Pulls and fills orders from stock.
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Stocks and posts incoming orders as needed.
  • Assists Parts Manager in processing stock orders and stock replenishment daily or as necessary.
  • Assists Parts Manager with annual parts physical inventory.
  • Follows up on back-ordered parts.
  • Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
  • Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
  • Receives payment from retail guests or obtains credit authorization.
  • Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
  • Solicits assigned accounts by phone.
  • Promptly and accurately confirms online quotes and orders with Wholesale clients

  • SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or General Education degree (GED) in addition to 2+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • English language required (bilingual is a plus)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other team members of the organization.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  • Typically works in a shop environment and uses a computer, telephone and other equipment as needed to perform duties.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
