Role Overview
Provides food preparation, sanitation and custodial services at a galley on a government facility. Responsible for operating food service equipment in a safe and efficient manner, performing general custodial duties, performing loading dock/areas debris removal.

What You’ll Do
-Ensuring efficient food service delivery, pristine dining areas, and immaculate kitchen sanitation post-meal.
-Cleaning, equipment sanitization, and expert dish machine operation.
-Optimizes workflow by proactively managing supplies and equipment, maintaining them in peak, safe working condition.
-Active participation in all required meetings and professional development.
-Exceeds quality benchmarks, consistently upholding stringent standards as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
-Cultivates strong relationships and clear communication with all government facility personnel.
-Delivers exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming and positive atmosphere for every guest.
-Prioritizes safety and hygiene, maintaining a spotless and secure work environment at all times.
-Operates with unwavering integrity, strictly adhering to all established policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Highschool diploma preferred
Must have a working knowledge of the procedures involved in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of a commercial food service establishment or the ability to learn the procedures, such as the operation of equipment and the proper use and disposal of chemicals
Must be able to perform multiple tasks without assistance and/or supervision
Must be able to work flexible hours in a facility that is open seven days a week, including holidays
Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs., independently
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work will be performed in a food service facility that will contain multiple people performing various tasks.
This environment will contain large ovens, stoves, mixers and other commercial kitchen equipment that will be operating while the Food Service Attendant is performing their duties.
In addition, a commercial dishwasher will be generating heat and humidity during the performance of a variety of tasks, to include operating the dishwasher.
Work will be performed in a government facility; the employee must be able to pass the background security check performed by VersAbility Resources and the Government. Employees will be working in a facility that provides a service to military personnel.
Employees must adhere to federal contract requirements, including maintaining confidentiality and compliance with security protocols.
