$21 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Operate loader equipment efficiently to support construction projects, ensuring safety and precision in every task.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to guarantee optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless workflow on site.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, fostering a secure environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and address any operational challenges.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, contributing to the timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance, supporting transparency and accountability in operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
- Knowledge of the proper operation of heavy equipment, as well as safety standards
- Must pass drug screen and background check
- This position is out in the elements; the candidate must be willing to work outside
Physical Requirements:
- Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, give directions, and other business interactions
- Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals
- Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification
- Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools
- Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg
- Lifting: able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg
- Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel
- Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time
- Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements
- Sitting: able to sit for long periods while operating the machine
