Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations in Mobile, Alabama. This position requires a hands-on leader who can maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and team performance. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, and service

Maintain and revise menu in consultation with Executive Chef, ensuring quality, consistency, and cost controls

Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to make maintain minimum weekly quantities to match sales

Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff so they work efficiently and keep costs in line with sales

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas

Control food and labor costs to meet budget goals

Ability to train new kitchen staff and show leadership and coaching on the line to line cooks and kitchen staff to increase efficiency
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager

Strong leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational and communication skills
-
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Culinary degree or formal training (preferred but not required with equivalent and relevant restaurant experience)

Experience with menu development and cost control
-
ServSafe Manager Certification required
