We’re looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to step into a Team Captain role on a high-performing, referral-driven team. Your focus is simple: work with qualified clients, structure the right loan, and move deals forward.
You won’t be responsible for generating your own business. Our team produces consistent opportunities through past clients, referral partners, and marketing. The expectation is that you take ownership of the client experience and execute at a high level.
This is a high-communication, high-accountability environment. Clients and agents expect proactive updates, clear guidance, and a smooth process from start to finish.

Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 base plus commission, with total compensation potential of $120,000+.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Conduct borrower consultations and structure loan scenarios
- Pre-approve and guide clients through financing decisions
- Present loan options clearly and confidently
- Lock loans and prepare files for submission
- Communicate with clients and referral partners during the early stages of the process
- Provide consistent follow-up with active buyers
- Deliver a high-level client experience that generates referrals
- Work closely with a processing team that takes over the file after submission
- Follow established consultation and communication frameworks used by the team
Qualifications:
Experience
- 5+ years of mortgage lending experience
- Active NMLS license
- Strong loan structuring and guideline knowledge
- Experience with Encompass or similar LOS
- Construction lending experience preferred but not required
