Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Product, the Manager of Product Analytics is responsible for leading qualitative user research to inform product strategy, design decisions, and content experiences. This role specializes in deep discovery research and synthesis, partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Product Data Analysts to validate insights through quantitative data. The role also leverages modern AI powered research and copywriting tools to accelerate insight generation, synthesis, and UX writing workflows.


We are seeking a Manager of Product Analytics to support the product team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring user-centered, data-informed, and scalable product experiences, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads qualitative UX research (discovery interviews, concept testing, usability studies, synthesis)
  • Translates qualitative insights into hypotheses and partner with Product Data Analysts / Scientists and Business Analysts to validate findings with quantitative data
  • Leverages AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, insight generation, and UX writing workflows
  • Develops and maintains UX writing standards, voice and tone guidelines, and content patterns
  • Partners with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • Mentors team members on research, content, and responsible AI usage best practices
Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, design, or related field OR equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • Formal training in UX, HCI, or interaction design (Preferred)
  • Licensure/Certification: None
  • Experience:
  • 6–8+ years of UX research experience with a strong emphasis on qualitative methods with 3–5 years of experience working on user-facing software products (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to support UX research and/or UX writing (Required)
  • Experience partnering with analytics, data science, or business intelligence teams (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with designers on production applications (Required)
  • Experience in regulated or complex product domains (Preferred)
  • Experience operationalizing research insights across multiple teams (Preferred)
  • Experience at product-led technology companies (Preferred)
  • Experience working with design systems or platform-level UI infrastructure (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of qualitative UX research methodologies (interviews, ethnography, usability testing); UX writing and content strategy best practices; human-centered design, accessibility, and inclusive design principles, and capabilities and limitations of AI tools used in UX research and content creation (Required)
  • Knowledge of mixed-method research models (qual + quant validation) and regulated digital environments (healthcare, fintech, or similar) (Preferred)
  • Research planning, facilitation, synthesis, and storytelling skills (Required)
  • UX writing for product interfaces, flows, and system messaging skills (Required)
  • Cross-functional collaboration with data and analytics partners skills (Required)
  • Prompt design and evaluation for AI-assisted research and writing skills (Preferred)
  • Workshop facilitation and hypothesis-driven research alignment skills (Preferred)
  • Ability to use AI-powered tools for research synthesis and pattern detection; drafting and iterating UX copy; accelerating documentation and insight sharing (Required)
  • Ability to lead ambiguous discovery efforts and turn insights into clear direction (Required)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with quantitative partners to validate ideas (Required)
  • Ability to apply AI responsibly, critically, and ethically in research and content work (Required)
  • Ability to influence long-term research and content strategy across product lines (Preferred)

Work Environment

  • Location: Remote/Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business and cross-facility travel as needed
  • Regular meetings with internal Product Design, Product Management, Product Data Analyst/Data Scientist, Business Analyst, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
Key Essential Functions
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while writing or reviewing documentation
  • Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
  • Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross-functional teams
