Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer – Power Systems
Location: Marietta, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and sustainment of power protection and distribution products. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design work, system-level problem solving, and contributing to both new and existing product platforms.

Key Responsibilities- Perform product-level electrical design including component selection, thermal considerations, and interconnection hardware
- Develop electrical schematics, technical specifications, and bills of materials
- Design power and control circuitry for switchboards and related electrical equipment
- Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuitry, magnetics, and thermal systems
- Support integration of third-party components into power distribution products
- Participate in hardware design reviews to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance
- Provide sustaining engineering support for both new product designs and legacy systems
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and subsystems through hands-on analysis and testing
- Assist with product safety and compliance efforts aligned with UL, CSA, and IEC standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar electrical CAD/design software
- Strong technical analysis and documentation skills
- Experience using standard electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers
- Familiarity with three-phase power systems
- Demonstrated hands-on laboratory and troubleshooting skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to solve practical engineering problems in a product development environment
