Executive Chef - Momentum Senior Living

We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations within our modernized senior living community. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create nutritious, appealing, and innovative meals that enhance the quality of life for our residents. The ideal candidate will bring a strong hospitality background, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and safety

- Develop and implement nutritious, balanced, and appealing menus tailored to the dietary needs of senior residents

- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

- Control food costs and manage inventory to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

- Collaborate with healthcare and activity teams to coordinate special events and themed dining experiences

- Ensure a positive dining environment that promotes resident satisfaction and well-being

- Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu development

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a hospitality or culinary setting

- Strong background in hospitality, with a focus on senior living or healthcare food service preferred

- Excellent culinary skills with knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions

- Leadership and team management abilities

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs

- Culinary certification or degree is preferred
