Position Summary
Location: El Dorado, KS
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

What You'll Do
As a Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our campus facilities. Your responsibilities may include:
- Performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facilities and tank farm equipment.
- Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, machinery, and transportation equipment.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to complete maintenance and repairs.
- Performing basic welding and fabrication as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Following all safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture.
What We're Looking For
Experienced, hands-on professionals who bring a strong mechanical background to maintenance.
Core Skills & Experience:
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps and pump motors
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including AC/DC systems, motors, control circuits
- Familiarity with preventive and predicative maintenance practices
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics
Technical & Diagnostic Strengths:
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) – basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) experience
Tools, Fabrication, & Equipment:
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, alignment tools)
- Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick, Mill and Lathe experience)
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, rigging, and forklifts
Safety & Work Ethic:
- Strong commitment to safety, including Lockout/Tagout, OSHA standards, and PPE
- Dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently or as a team
