Responsibilities
Design Engineers – design, build, test-run, and debug custom made production equipment and processes for manufacturing Polyethylene and Polypropylene corrugated pipes.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support Domestic and International Manufacturing Operations.
- Design, Build, manage new equipment for Pipe Manufacturing.
- Develop improvement to pipe manufacturing process.
- Design New products and make improvements to existing.
- Working to ensure manufacturing is completed in a timely manor.
- Participate in process improvement efforts that can involve improving
existing machine designs.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Inventor, AutoCad, Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook.
- Compuplast software experience a plus.
- BS mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Polymer rheology.
- Preferred 3-10 years engineering experience.
- Proven track record of designing and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in our manufacturing environment.
- Up to 25% travel in the US and Canada
