This role is a critical driver of supply chain efficiency, overseeing the planning and procurement of packaging materials and components across multiple global fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for maintaining healthy inventory levels, executing production and transfer orders, and ensuring that all regions and partners receive the necessary materials to support fast-paced growth. The position requires close collaboration with vendors, internal teams, and finance to optimize production, manage risk, and support new product launches. This is a highly analytical and operationally focused role, providing direct impact on inventory management, cost control, and global supply continuity. The environment is dynamic, remote-friendly, and requires adaptability to support international logistics and multi-site operations. Success will depend on your ability to coordinate complex supply networks and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-moving, mission-driven organization.
- Develop and execute supply plans for packaging materials, components, and related raw materials across multiple global sites
- Place and track manufacturing purchase orders (POs), assembly work orders (WOs), and transfer orders (TOs) to ensure timely production and delivery
- Partner with vendors to optimize schedules, minimize stockouts, and reduce risk of rework or waste
- Manage product transitions, new item launches, and inventory movements to support business growth and operational targets
- Provide regular updates on inventory status, days of supply, and items at risk across finished goods and components
- Collaborate with finance for COGs analysis and with procurement to efficiently source raw materials
- Support advanced planning system optimization and maintain KPIs for the overall supply chain
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or materials management, ideally with packaging focus
- Experience managing supplier relationships and coordinating production across multiple fulfillment centers
- Knowledge of finished goods and raw material planning, international logistics, and co-manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and advanced supply chain planning software (e.g., Blue Yonder, o9, APO, Spherecast)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a remote environment
- Experience in consumer products, direct-to-consumer, supplements, or FMCG industries preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
