Key Responsibilities

· Bank reconciliations

· Supporting Accounts Payable, including authorisation of payments

· Supporting Accounts Receivable and credit control

· Posting journals and performing control account reconciliations

· Preparation of Fixed Assets register

· Liaising with bank regarding financing

· Valuation of monthly stock take and work in progress

· VAT Returns, CIS, and RCT reports (UK and ROI)

· Assist in preparation of budgets

· Review of weekly cashflow forecast

· Completion of monthly project analysis

· Completion of monthly management accounts and year end audit

· Report directly to Finance Manager and Finance Director

· Other ad hoc financial duties as require

Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience

· Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant

· Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook

· Sage software experience desirable

· Focus on quality, detail, and a willingness to learn

· Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment
