Supervisor - Connector Assembly at Dynomax Inc. – Wheeling, Illinois

• Supervise and train Connector and Cable/Harness Assembly personnel.
• Schedule department work and approve labor reports.
• Act as a liaison between project management and the shop, help coordinating production activities to meet delivery dates.
• Compose job paperwork for the production floor as needed.
• Issue and return material to jobs as needed.
• Manage on hand inventory-Define with project management minimum on hand quantities, build visual management system to determine when to order stock, and order stock when needed.
• Assist with the development of work instructions and procedures to support soldering, assembly, and inspection activities.
• Report to management on quality concerns, and trends.
• Analyze the root cause of defects and participate in recommendations and implementation of corrective actions.

What We are Looking For:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a specification heavy, manufacturing environment
• ERP system experience (EPICOR preferred)
• Knowledge of the fundamental uses of hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical soldering (IPC J-STD-001 CIT)
• Basic knowledge of electronics manufacturing or electro mechanical manufacturing (IPC-620 AND/OR IPC-610).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, both written and oral.
