HEAD BARTENDER at SF MIAMI LLC – Miami, Florida

Job Overview:

Sexy Fish Miami is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Bartender to lead bar operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing daily bar service, maintaining high standards, and supporting the development of the bar team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
• Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment use
• Maintain full knowledge of beverage offerings, recipes, and pricing
• Monitor inventory, control waste, and ensure adequate stock levels
• Operate POS system, process payments, and complete required reports
• Provide exceptional guest service and resolve concerns promptly
• Complete opening and closing duties, including stocking and sanitation
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and liquor laws

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support bartenders and bar backs
• Maintain service standards and ensure consistency across shifts
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of bar team
• Support Bar Manager and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a high-volume or upscale bar environment required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Tech-savvy with experience using POS
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Flexible and dependable, with availability during peak service hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry bar supplies as needed
