Summary/Objective

The Branch Manager is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that enables the branch to consistently meet and exceed established goals in sales, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost management. This role oversees all branch operations to ensure customers within the organization’s target market receive exceptional service that strengthens and enhances the company’s brand and reputation. In addition to company-provided training, the Branch Manager actively invests time in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to support their ongoing growth and success.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, training, coaching, and leadership to all branch team members
  • Conduct classroom and field training for branch sales and operational team members
  • Ensure all branch team members are trained according to company standards
  • Review production and performance of team members according to company guidelines
  • Communicate branch goals to all team members, listen to team member feedback, and provide coaching/training/leadership to achieve the goals
  • Listen, respond to, and appropriately report questions and concerns from team members to upper management
  • Hold branch team members accountable to all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure that branch team members reflect the appropriate company image including uniform guidelines and vehicle appearance
  • Prepare and execute operation budgets, including revenue, expenses, and growth percentages
  • Understand Profit and Loss statements to make necessary business decisions
  • Oversee the submission of Accounts Payables
  • Review all invoices for the branch and submit for timely payments to vendors
  • Communicate all new team member hires, changes, and/or terminations to Senior Vice President of Operations or Chief Operating Officer
  • Maintain budgeted number of team members to obtain revenue goals
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train qualified team members according to company guidelines
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints or requests
  • Maintain license(s) required to operate in the branch state
  • Obtain continuing education credits required to fulfill and maintain state registration and certification requirements
  • Ensure all service professionals are registered or certified
  • Maintain registration and certification hours for all branch team members
  • Obtain state certifications in operating categories
  • Communicate and cooperate with state regulatory officials
  • Conduct branch and vehicle inspections and take necessary actions when needed
  • Keep federal, state, and company required postings up-to-date and properly displayed
  • Oversee completion of First Report of Injury and all follow-up for Workers Compensation claims
  • Oversee and maintain OSHA logs for branch and state reports
  • Perform payroll functions for branch team members and validate payroll at each submission
  • Maintain and safely operate fleet vehicle(s)
  • Ensure that team members are performing thorough and accurate inspections for WDOs (Wood Destroying Organisms) and pest problems
  • Ensure that team members are following all product labels when providing services to customers
  • Travel to customer locations to inspect and evaluate services
  • Audit and approve service agreements
  • Maintain proper inventory of all pest control, termite control, and other pest related products
  • Oversee the issuance of all products to service professionals as appropriate
  • Review treatment protocols with service professionals
  • Participate in and conduct meetings as required
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as required by management

Experience:

  • Pest Control: 5 Years (Required)
