About This Position
Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) system engineering and information technology firm, headquartered in Maryland and Virginia. ACET is seeking a H-1 Flight Equipment/Seat Shop Mechanic (CDQAR) at our Jacksonville, NC location.
Responsibilities:
- Will work near ordnance, must have previously qualified as Quality Assurance & Safety Observer (QA/SO).
- Work, cooperate and communicate, as directed, with supervisors, team leaders and coworkers satisfactorily.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and 13 Series manuals.
- Observe personal safety and line precautions around aircraft and workspaces.
- Completes maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, and required forms, as required by job assignment.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 5 years Aviation experience.
- Must have and and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- 2 years as a CDI/CDQAR and QASO
- High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Must have had and be able to maintain all explosive handling/safety qualifications as outlined in applicable publications and standards.
- Knowledgeable with Joint Satellite Tracking System (JSETS), CAD/PAD and AWIS.
- Must demonstrate OOMA knowledge upon assignment.
- Must be able to pick up a minimum of 50 lbs. individually from the ground, vehicle or aircraft.
- Must be able to pass drug test and pass fit for work physical as required.
- Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead.
- Travel may be required.
- Previously completed Parachute Rigger “A” School.
