This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial, vendor, and procurement contracts while building scalable legal operations infrastructure. You will draft, negotiate, and execute agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies. Additionally, you will implement AI-powered workflows, contract management systems, and low-code/no-code automation tools to increase efficiency across the legal team. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, Security, Privacy, and Clinical Operations, you will serve as a key legal partner driving both operational excellence and strategic contract management. - Draft, review, negotiate, and execute a high volume of commercial, vendor, and procurement agreements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business teams on contract questions and guide stakeholders through contracting processes from intake to signature
- Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries aligned with risk tolerance and internal policies
- Track contract obligations, renewal dates, and key milestones to ensure timely compliance
- Implement and maintain cutting-edge contract management systems and AI-powered workflows to streamline contract review, triage, and approvals
- Build integrations across legal and business systems using low-code/no-code platforms to improve legal operations efficiency
- Support corporate maintenance, including entity management, annual filings, and governance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, contracting processes, and legal initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. or paralegal certificate preferred
- 6+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or in-house legal support
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (SaaS, vendor, procurement, services)
- Experience implementing or administering CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM)
- Proficiency with AI-powered legal tools and ability to design automated workflows for routine legal processes
- Working knowledge of low-code/no-code automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, Power Automate)
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly explain contract terms to non-legal stakeholders
- Preferred: experience in healthcare or regulated industries, knowledge of healthcare-specific agreements (BAAs, clinical services agreements), multi-country contracting experience, Certified Contract Manager (CCM)
- Competitive base salary: $110,000–$138,000, depending on experience and location
