The Director, Treasury Management will serve as a senior advisor and strategist, helping financial institutions optimize treasury operations, enhance liquidity solutions, and drive commercial banking performance. This role provides an opportunity to lead high-impact consulting engagements, delivering actionable insights and practical recommendations that influence client decision-making. You will collaborate closely with executives across community banks, credit unions, and fintechs, helping shape treasury product strategy, operational efficiency, and technology adoption. The position combines client-facing advisory, project leadership, and thought leadership in the treasury space, offering exposure to diverse institutions and complex challenges. With responsibilities spanning strategy, implementation, and business development, the role allows you to build a visible professional brand while making measurable contributions to client success.

Accountabilities
  • Lead treasury management consulting engagements, advising clients on cash management, liquidity solutions, payments modernization, and treasury product strategy.
  • Evaluate and optimize commercial banking operations, pricing models, and service delivery to enhance client outcomes and profitability.
  • Deliver data-driven insights using proprietary research and benchmarking tools to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to proposals, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering high-performance, client-focused project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, strategy, and M&A advisory, to ensure integrated solutions and consistent execution.
  • Stay abreast of treasury management trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technology solutions to provide expert guidance and industry insights.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in treasury management or commercial banking, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in treasury services, cash management, liquidity solutions, and commercial payments.
  • Experience in management consulting is a plus, with strong project leadership and client advisory capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and deliver actionable insights to senior executives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related quantitative field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 33–50% of the time.
