• Lead and mentor a team of 6–10 software engineers, promoting technical growth and collaboration
• Drive the design and implementation of user platform features, enterprise capabilities, and entitlement frameworks
• Oversee authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant platform architecture to ensure security, scalability, and usability
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to define platform strategy, technical standards, and feature roadmaps
• Implement observability, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices for robust platform operations
• Prioritize technical debt, scalability improvements, and performance optimization initiatives
• Advocate for high-quality engineering practices, code review, and continuous delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading backend or platform engineering teams, ideally in SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud-scale environments
• Strong technical expertise in backend development and platform architecture (Python preferred; Go, Java, C++ acceptable)
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS systems, user settings, feature flagging, and enterprise features
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment concepts (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with observability, monitoring stacks, and security best practices for enterprise platforms
• Skilled in data flow orchestration, database optimization (PostgreSQL, Neo4j, or equivalent), and distributed system design
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills with a systems-thinking mindset
• Bonus: experience with audit/compliance frameworks (SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001) or managing technical leads
