ARC is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Airline Data Quality & Analytics) to join our team! You will have expertise in airline commercial data to play a pivotal role in advancing ARC’s mission to be the preferred provider of data for airlines and their partners and shape the future of global airline commerce. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex airline and other travel-related commercial data to provide insights and expert support to airlines, ensuring ARC’s data quality strategy is best-in-class, and managing and maintaining a culture that is laser focused on data quality, consistency and timeliness critical to ARC’s customers and product teams. You will proactively identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and support the development of innovative data products, demonstrating a strong understanding of the value generated for airlines and their partners. This role requires a strong understanding of airline revenue management, pricing, sales, network planning, and product strategies to inform both internal decision-making and customer-facing insights. You will work cross-functionally with product, technical, and customer-facing teams to ensure ARC's data products remain innovative, competitive and relevant. Through rigorous analysis and thoughtful experimentation, the role will support product strategy, competitive benchmarking, and the ongoing evolution of ARC's data offerings.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and application of commercial data quality standards, tools and monitoring metrics to ensure data consistency, timeliness and accuracy. Analyze detailed transaction data to identify trends, detect gaps, and benchmark commercial airline performance across carriers, markets, and product types.
- Act as product team expert and representative for enterprise data governance – to include being subject matter expert on airline and other travel-related data definitions, traceability, quality and documentation.
- Contribute to commercial data products by validating outputs and identifying new value propositions. Design and execute business-focused experiments and use case testing to inform and support product development and evolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, analysts, developers, sales and customer engagement teams, to drive alignment and execution.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise summaries and visualizations of findings appropriately tailored to audience which include customers, internal stakeholders and executives.
- Package and present insights on customer delivery, executive briefings, and strategic discussions to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical, strategic, mathematics, statistics, or computer science preferred, equivalent experience considered.
- Experience in airline commercial departments like Revenue Management/Pricing, Network Planning strongly preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant experience required
- Demonstrated expertise in applied statistical or numerical analysis, working with both large and small datasets.
- Proven experience in conducting data analysis and research to support business decision-making.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and data environments.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Proficient in technical tools such as SQL and Snowflake; ability to learn and apply new platforms and tools is expected.
- Experience in data observability, quality metrics, validation and anomaly detection.
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of ARC’s customers, their business processes, and apply that knowledge to support the management of new and existing products and services.
- Experience in the airline industry, with a demonstrated ability to use airline commercial data to derive insights and inform strategic decisions.
