About This Position

Senior Auth0 Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • This job is a remote / telecommute position. The successful candidate must have quality Internet connection, and be comfortable communicating on video calls, screen sharing, etc.

    Provides expert knowledge and act as a subject matter expert on key principles of Identity and Access Management and expertise with the Auth0 platform

  • Assist with building out engineering, development and operational support with the adoption of next generation IAM solutions

  • Experience implementing modern authentication solutions leveraging standard protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC

  • Engage in the review and design of new IAM solutions to ensure appropriate controls and tools are selected and operationalized

    Ensure IT solutions meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs

  • Maintains effective partnerships with teams, vendors, managers, leaders, and stakeholders

Required Skills and Experiences

  • 8+ years of engineering experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space. 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with the Auth0 platform

  • Must have good understanding of both legacy and modern Web Authn, Authz technologies

  • Solid knowledge of Deployment topologies, Infrastructure, on-prem, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS

  • Solid experience in building complete fault-tolerant applications with high 9 SLA’s

  • Solid experience in large data processing, fast response times, Always-On model frameworks and applications that corresponds to best deployment topologies and resiliency plans

  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels of management and deliver informative, well-organized presentations

  • Ability to listen and understand the customer's business goals, objectives and priorities

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions

  • Ability to manage customer expectations effectively, ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical and business stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field

Nice to Have

  • Strong experience in key management in classic architectures as well as cloud technologies

  • Health Insurance, Financial Services, or experience in highly regulated industries is preferred

  • Okta certified or willing to be certified
