Summary:
Opener and PD support will be responsible for Opening claims and following up Property Damage claims. The primary responsibility of this position is to make calls to insurance companies to open PIP/BI claims on behalf of the clients. This person is the bridge between the PD specialist and the client and addresses their concerns regarding their vehicle repairs. The objective of this position is to open claims and resolve the property damage portion of the claims address in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Call the insurance companies to open claims.
- Send LORs and opening letters
- Follow up with clients on missing information.
- Data entry
- Physical file preparation
- Gain knowledge of the Beginning stages of the BI department procedure and the PD process.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards our clients always.
- Communicate and coordinate with the PD specialist, the opening Team, and the Business development team.
- Opening PD/ collision claims with insurance companies
- Setup vehicle inspection
- Setup rental reservation
- Follow up on repair status (2x weekly)
- Request an initial estimate and supplement
- Follow up on total loss and evaluation reports
- Schedule meetings or appointments
- Order office supplies and report monthly expenses and detail order list to COO
- Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies and culture
- Ensure that the accountant receives any bills/ invoices
Qualifications:
· Customer service skills
· Team player, works well with others in a group setting
· Strong organizational skills
· Working knowledge of legal terms, preferred
· Effective verbal and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office
· Spanish speaker, required

Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience
Schedule: This position is ON-SITE in our Tampa location, 8:30am-5:30pm
