Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Job Description:

Drive locally in Southeastern Michigan areaPerform proper maintenance checks to ensure that all mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in proper working orderMust be able to fill out and keep accurate log / recordsBe able to operate a forklift to load and unload shipment on truckDelivering products in a timely and courteous mannerObtain signatures to confirm order completionInspect and maintain cleanliness of vehicleFollow all truck safety proceduresVerify the quantity of materialProvide great customer service to our customersSecure products in truck for proper transportAdhere to Department of Transportation regulationsFollow verbal and written instructionsCross training as needed

Semi-Tractor Trailer Driver Requirements:

Must possess a current CDL Class A license, DOT physical long form and medical cardHave a minimum of five years’ experience (preferred) in operating a semi-tractor trailer Be a dependable and dedicated individual who takes pride in safety and exhibits good driving skills at all times and possess a good driving record
