Engineer II, Quality Assurance

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Engineer II, Quality Assurance in India.

This role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of a next-generation healthcare technology platform through advanced test automation and validation practices. You will work on designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks across mobile, web, and API layers, contributing directly to the reliability of critical healthcare workflows. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and QA teams in an Agile environment, where continuous delivery and rapid iteration are key. You will play a vital role in reducing manual testing efforts by expanding automation coverage and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role also includes validating complex healthcare data exchanges using industry standards, ensuring high accuracy and compliance. This is a highly technical and impact-driven position, ideal for professionals passionate about automation, quality engineering, and healthcare innovation.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and executing automated testing solutions to ensure high-quality delivery of mobile, web, and API-based applications in a healthcare environment.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile (iOS/Android), web, and API testing
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, and RestAssured
  • Perform API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing of healthcare workflows
  • Validate data exchanges and system integrations using HL7 and FHIR standards
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis and resolution
  • Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation maturity across projects

Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong QA automation expertise, programming skills, and experience working in Agile environments with modern testing tools and frameworks.

  • 3–6 years of experience in QA automation or software testing roles
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Python (or JavaScript)
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit frameworks
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in healthcare domain standards such as HL7, FHIR (preferred)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools, test optimization, or modern automation frameworks (preferred)
