Warehouse Associate / Driver in Lake Forest, California at Avidex

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate and Driver supports warehouse operations and field installation teams by ensuring timely delivery and movement of materials to job sites. This role plays a key part in keeping installation teams on schedule by coordinating pick-ups, deliveries, and maintaining organized inventory.

This position also supports day-to-day warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility, including early mornings or evenings, and the ability to work in varying warehouse and job site conditions.

What You'll Do

• Pull and prepare materials for delivery to job sites
• Load and operate vans or box trucks for safe and timely deliveries
• Coordinate with field teams for delivery and pickup needs
• Support installation teams by delivering materials and responding to urgent requests
• Assist with warehouse organization, cleanliness, and material storage
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
• Maintain accurate tracking of materials and deliveries
• Represent the company professionally when interacting on job sites
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE when required
• Attend required trainings and support team needs as needed

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required; must meet company driving standards, including participation in motor vehicle record (MVR)

• Experience driving vans or box trucks required
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems (ERP experience a plus)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc.)
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions (hot/cold environments)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
