This role is a high-impact technical position focused on designing, automating, and optimizing enterprise IT systems within a fast-scaling, cloud-first environment. You will play a central role in architecting secure and scalable IT ecosystems that support critical business operations across a modern technology platform. The position combines hands-on engineering, systems integration, and automation development with strategic ownership of IT infrastructure and identity management. You will work closely with security, engineering, and operations teams to improve efficiency, enhance user experience, and strengthen system reliability. This is a highly collaborative yet autonomous role where you will lead key IT initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and help shape the future of internal technology operations. You will also contribute to mentoring peers and driving best practices across a distributed technical environment.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable enterprise IT systems and cloud-based infrastructure to support business operations and growth.
- Lead the integration of core business platforms, evaluate new tools, and manage vendor relationships to ensure secure and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement automation frameworks using tools such as Okta Workflows, focusing on eliminating manual processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Own identity and access management architecture, including SSO integrations, access policies, and governance using Okta and related systems.
- Partner with security teams to support audits, incident response, endpoint management, and compliance initiatives.
- Lead and manage strategic IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring transparency, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery.
- Mentor and support IT engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Explore and implement AI and emerging technologies to improve IT operations, automation, and employee experience.
- 7–10+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or enterprise IT operations roles.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional IT projects in a distributed or remote environment.
- Strong expertise in cloud ecosystems, system integration, and enterprise IT architecture.
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management platforms, particularly Okta and SSO systems.
- Proficiency with device management and enterprise tools such as Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, and Atlassian suite.
- Strong automation mindset with experience building workflows and reducing manual operational tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and design scalable solutions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple technical workstreams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
- Competitive base salary ranging from 119,300 to 165,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location.
