This role sits at the heart of data-driven decision-making, transforming complex and large-scale datasets into actionable insights that guide strategic business outcomes. You will design, build, and optimize business intelligence solutions that empower leaders with clear, reliable, and impactful data visualizations. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while ensuring data integrity across all reporting layers. The position requires strong analytical depth, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and executive audiences. You will also play a key role in improving existing BI systems, enhancing performance, and supporting enterprise-wide analytics initiatives. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences operational and strategic decisions in a complex, regulated environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions including dashboards, reports, apps, and data models that support enterprise decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions through close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Perform advanced data analysis to support strategic initiatives, uncover trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Build and optimize data visualizations and reporting tools to communicate complex information to executive and senior leadership.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all BI systems and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex to highly complex data and system issues through in-depth analysis.
- Improve performance and usability of existing BI solutions through continuous optimization and refinement.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related analytics role.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong experience building dashboards, reports, and applications using Power BI and Power Apps.
- Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets in enterprise-scale environments.
- Experience working with healthcare data and understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to data quality.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working independently while also contributing effectively in team environments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Python, cloud platforms (such as Databricks or similar), and DevOps practices in BI environments is a plus.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $89,000 to $121,400 depending on experience and location.
