Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic Level II/III in Meridian, Idaho at Intermountain Home Services LLC

The main responsibility of this employee is to provide repairs and basic maintenance of a variety of vehicles and equipment in a team environment. Huge opportunity to work on a variety of equipment. Attention to detail, the ability to manage priorities and a positive attitude is important.

Starting pay at $30/hr+ based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and brake work.
• Utilize fleet software, Fleetio to manager PMs and history of all vehicles and equipment
• Fleet of approximately 100 trucks, trailers including semis to excavation equipment, vans, pickups and small engines.
• Maintaining vehicle functionality; conduct inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.

• Level II/III skilled mechanic required
• Clean driving record with the ability to drive a variety of vehicles including those with a standard transmission
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds, crawl in confined spaces, climb ladders, perform repeated bending and lifting
• Be able to set priorities
• Show a desire to learn a variety of mechanic skills, theories and operational functions on a variety of vehicles and equipment
