The Technician (Technical Manufacturing) performs a wide variety of routine production tasks in Technical Manufacturing and must be capable of producing large-scale components for diagnostic products. He/She must be capable of following work instructions and finish assigned tasks on time.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for bulk manufacturing, testing, documentation, analytical procedures, and product flow to produce radioactive and non-radioactive diagnostic products in strict adherence to regulations covering Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Manufactures and tests hazardous radioactive diagnostic products and competently handles high levels of radiation in a safe and effective manner.
- Performs at a standard that allows for minimum errors.
- Assists in the decontamination and disposal of radioactivity.
- Compiles, revises, and updates Log Sheets.
- Performs routine tasks required to maintain departmental compliance with GMP, ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
- Works within all safety guidelines and rules designated by department, Company, and corporate policies.
- Maintains manufacturing areas in accordance with housekeeping and safety rules.
Accountability:
- Accuracy of testing and manufacturing records.
- Compliance with appropriate manufacturing, testing and investigation tasks according to agreed schedules.
- Completion of assigned manufacturing, testing and investigation tasks according to agreed schedules.
- Conformance to specification of assigned manufactured products.
- Adheres to documented procedures.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor diploma and above
- Specify in Chemicals, Biochemicals, Biology and/or Molecular Biology area.
- 1 years related working experience preferred. Experience in immunoassay manufacturing preferred.
- Organized and initiative-taking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong scenes of responsibility
- Accurate and meticulous
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office products
Work Environment:
- Works with low-high level radioactive materials will be required.
- Appropriate PPE needed based on the product’s SDS requirement.
- Ability to walk to other departments and engage with other staff as needed.
