This executive leadership role sits at the center of large-scale systems and informatics program delivery within a highly regulated medical technology environment. The position is responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of complex, cloud-based and cross-functional product development programs that support critical healthcare solutions. You will lead global program management teams, ensuring alignment between strategic business objectives and delivery outcomes across hardware, software, and integrated systems initiatives. The role requires strong governance oversight, budget accountability, and the ability to manage high-risk, high-impact programs across multiple geographies. You will act as a key liaison between engineering, product, regulatory, and executive stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and performance. This is a high-visibility leadership role that directly influences innovation and operational excellence in healthcare technology.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and oversee multiple large-scale systems and informatics programs from initiation through execution and closure, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of complex cloud-based and integrated software/hardware projects within a regulated medical device environment.
  • Direct and develop a global team of Program Managers and Core Team Leaders responsible for execution of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own program governance, including phase-gate reviews, performance tracking, risk management, and mitigation planning.
  • Oversee substantial program budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure delivery within defined scope, quality, and schedule constraints.
  • Partner with Integrated Business Planning and executive stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and strategic updates.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA and global regulatory requirements across all program activities and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and external partners to ensure successful execution of complex system initiatives.
  • Evaluate project constraints and dependencies, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Drive operational excellence and adherence to product delivery standards and organizational governance frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • 15+ years of experience in product development program or project management, including leadership of large-scale, complex initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong background managing software, hardware, and integrated systems development projects.
  • Proven leadership experience managing global, cross-functional teams and large program portfolios.
  • Deep understanding of FDA and other regulatory frameworks governing medical technology and product development.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large program budgets and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with executive-level exposure.
  • Experience working with external partners, OEMs, and third-party vendors.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
