This role is a high-impact, customer-facing technical sales position focused on driving global demand and strategic adoption of advanced network infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with end users, consultants, engineering firms, and design-build contractors to ensure products are effectively specified and integrated into large-scale projects. Acting as both a technical advisor and commercial partner, you will translate complex customer requirements into tailored, scalable solutions across enterprise and data center environments. The position blends consultative sales, technical expertise, and strategic account management, with responsibility for growing revenue within key global accounts. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and regional sales teams to influence product direction and maximize customer success. This is a highly visible role with significant international exposure, travel, and leadership expectations.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead strategic technical sales initiatives, develop key customer relationships, and drive specification and adoption of solutions across global enterprise and data center projects.

  • Drive specification of solutions by ensuring products are included in technical documentation, design drawings, and project materials.
  • Manage and grow strategic global account pipelines using CRM tools to track opportunities and revenue performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, engineers, and design-build partners to identify technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution workshops for prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop annual sales plans aligned with revenue targets and organizational growth objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on strategic account performance and pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and sales teams to design integrated, end-to-end customer solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on network infrastructure, including copper and fiber cabling systems.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by reviewing customer projects and requirements.
  • Mentor and support technical sales teams by sharing global best practices and providing coaching.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in structured cabling and data center infrastructure, combined with strong consultative sales capabilities and global account management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering-related field preferred.
  • BICSI RCDD certification required.
  • 10+ years of experience in structured cabling, network infrastructure, or related technical sales environments.
  • 5+ years of experience managing global end-user or enterprise accounts.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/data center cabling design or similar advanced infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of copper and fiber optic systems and enterprise network architecture.
  • Proven consultative sales skills with ability to translate technical needs into commercial solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across global, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, including internationally, with a valid passport.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ($165,000–$185,000).
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting shortly after hire.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional volunteer time off.
  • Life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance options.
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional development support.
  • Wellness programs and employee assistance resources.
  • Global exposure working with enterprise and data center clients on complex technical projects.
