Salary: $20/hour

Bonus:$200/month for successful completion of your employment agreement. The bonus is dependent on terms of your seasonal availability and performance/attendance, up to $1,000 total. Employees who do not complete the entire term of their employment agreement will not be eligible for any part of the incentive/bonus.  

Position Summary:

The Retail Associate with Klawock Island is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining guest services as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, re-stocking, signing, pricing, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting customersMaintain a friendly and welcoming shopping experienceStay knowledgeable about products, promotions, and advertisementsAssist with merchandising, stocking, and store upkeepAccurately complete sales transactions and manage POS operationsAdhere to company policies, including signing, pricing, and loss preventionCommunicate guest requests to managementSupport store housekeeping, maintenance, and organizationExperience, Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to stand for long periods and climb stairs multiple times a dayAbility to bend, stretch, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbsMust be comfortable working in a noisy area with various odors presentWork in an unheated building and travel to a remote locationComfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from the job siteMust be able to walk or drive on gravel roads in inclement weatherBe flexible to extended work hours during the season
