Lutheran Home is hiring a Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide specialized wound and skin care within our skilled nursing community. This is a full-time, day-shift clinical role offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and a mission-driven culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide specialized wound and skin care in accordance with physician orders and best practices
  • Assess resident treatment needs and implement appropriate wound care interventions
  • Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Educate and support nursing staff and CNAs on wound care practices
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain survey readiness
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and MDS team to support documentation and care planning

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN or LPN license required
  • Wound care certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience, preferably in long-term care
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal clinical instructions and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in skilled nursing or senior living settings
  • Prior experience working with interdisciplinary care teams
