This role is a highly analytical, customer-facing position focused on transforming data into actionable sales insights that drive category and customer performance. You will act as a key link between internal planning teams and customer business stakeholders, helping identify growth opportunities across distribution, pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies. The position requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling recommendations that influence decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support annual planning, forecast tracking, and performance optimization. In addition, you will play a hands-on role in supporting customer engagement initiatives, including retailer presentations and business reviews. This is a fast-paced environment where precision, storytelling with data, and commercial awareness are essential to success.
- Analyze raw and syndicated data to generate insights and recommendations across key sales drivers, including distribution, pricing, assortment, and promotional effectiveness.
- Deliver accurate and comprehensive reporting across the full P&L to support fact-based business decisions.
- Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations to communicate insights to customer business teams and internal stakeholders.
- Support the creation and execution of selling priorities through ongoing reporting, tracking, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor forecasts and contribute to the annual business planning process.
- Identify customer and category growth opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations for commercial planning.
- Track budgets across assigned business segments and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and support customer-facing engagements, including leading retailer HQ calls focused on distribution, innovation, and merchandising priorities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an analytical or sales support role within a commercial or CPG environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting functions.
- Experience creating and delivering professional PowerPoint presentations for business audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal ability.
- Ability to prioritize and perform effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into business recommendations.
- Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and customer-facing stakeholders.
- High level of organization, ownership, and attention to detail.
