Assistant Controller

McCurley Integrity Dealerships is seeking a motivated individual to fill an Assistant Controller position. This position fills a key role in the accounting department and is responsible for managing the overall financial operations of two or more dealerships. Must be willing to occasionally work extended hours and weekends, especially around month and year end close timeframes.

Job Duties include, but not limited to:

• Oversees all financial aspects of dealership operations including month and year end reporting processes
• Prepare monthly dealership financial statements
• Review monthly balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare weekly/monthly internal reports for management
• Maintain and review fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
• Reconcile bank accounts for the dealerships daily
• Sales and B&O tax returns preparation and filling monthly

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• CPA (preferred but not required)
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to function under pressure, involving activities that are time-sensitive in nature

Annual pay ranges $88,000.00 - $105,000.00 based on experience.
