You will oversee AI-assisted workflows, contribute to the improvement of AI tools, and apply editorial judgment to refine outputs before publication. Success in this role requires a balance of legal expertise, editorial excellence, and technological fluency, enabling the delivery of high-quality, timely content in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly collaborative position that influences both the content strategy and the adoption of AI tools in legal publishing.
- Curate, update, and refine legal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and currency across multiple practice areas.
- Manage relationships with external authors and contributors, providing guidance on editorial standards, AI-assisted workflows, and content quality.
- Track legislative, regulatory, and case-law developments to inform content updates and identify new content opportunities.
- Apply editorial judgment to review and refine AI-generated outputs, ensuring consistency and compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Content Strategy, and Marketing to align content with market needs.
- Contribute subject-matter insight to the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI tools for content creation and updating.
- Maintain editorial schedules, monitor performance metrics, and report on content currency and quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
- 1–5 years of experience in legal practice, legal publishing, or related content development roles.
- Strong editorial skills with the ability to edit complex legal content for clarity, accuracy, and voice.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools for legal research, drafting, summarization, and content review.
- Ability to craft effective prompts, evaluate AI outputs, iterate for quality, and contribute to workflow improvements.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills with an ability to work across multiple teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market signals and customer feedback to guide content initiatives.
