Alloy Engineering is not a high-volume production shop. We are a custom-engineered solutions provider where every project is a "one-off" challenge. We are seeking a Master Welder/Fabricator—a true artisan with 10+ years of experience who thrives on craftsmanship, complex industrial builds, and working with exotic alloys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Precision Welding: Perform expert-level MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on critical industrial components.
  • Custom Fabrication: Execute full-cycle metal fabrication, including layout, fit-up, and assembly of complex industrial equipment.
  • Technical Mastery: Read and interpret advanced blueprints, engineering drawings, and complex weld symbols with 100% accuracy.
  • Specialized Materials: Mastery in welding Stainless Steel and high-nickel alloys.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all work meets rigorous ASME and AWS quality standards.
  • Versatility: Expertly weld in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ Years of Experience: Must have a proven background in heavy fabrication or custom job shop environments.
  • Proficient ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Demostrated mastery welding stainless steel and nickel alloys experience a plus
  • Expert in using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) to ensure tight tolerances

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs
  • Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed
  • Some work performed inside, underneath, or on top of fabrications
  • 10-hour shifts/ 55 hours a week in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing facility
  • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required
  • Must have personal welding hood and basic hand tools.
