Job Title: Clinical Perfusionist (Adult & Pediatric Cardiac Surgery)

Location: Misrata

Contract: 2 years renewable

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heart-lung machine (CPB) during open-heart surgeries (CABG, valve, congenital, aortic).
• Manage ECMO, IABP, cell saver, and HiPEC when required.
• Conduct intraoperative TEE support (if certified).
• Priming, anticoagulation management, blood gas analysis, and myocardial protection.
• Participate in perfusion quality audits and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• BSc in Perfusion Technology / Cardiovascular Perfusion OR Critical Care Nursing + Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP/ABCP/ECCP).
• Minimum 5–12 years post-certification experience in high-volume cardiac center (>250 pump cases/year).
• Independent adult & pediatric case experience mandatory.
• Valid certification (ABCP, EBCP, or equivalent).
• Arabic speaker = strong advantage.
• Age <55 years.
• Current DHA/MOH/GCC experience = fastest processing.
