Position Description:

Is responsible for the mechanical equipment and or structure at Lou-Rich. Duties involve the performance of operations and the use of tools and equipment of several t4rades, such as carpentry, electrical plumbing, etc. Work involves a combination of the following: planning and layout of work relating to repair of the area, mechanical and/or electrical equipment; installing and aligning new equipment; general repairing of the building. This person must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures.

Essential Functions:

· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Lou-Rich facility.

· Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures and documentation requirements.

· Plan, lay out, and execute repair work for machinery, equipment, and facility areas, including determining materials, tools, and methods needed.

· Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and minor fabrication work.

· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately.

· Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively across multiple trades.

· Must have all safety training provided by Lou-Rich

· Must have a good understanding of all safety equipment used in the Press Room/Paint Room

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must have good communication skills

· Must be able to perform preventive maintenance by using ISO 9001 procedures

Lou-Rich Training Requirement:

· Applicable training will be completed by following the syllabi (Human Resources, Safety, IFS - Timeclock, IFS - Navigation, ISO) for each new hire and that will be verified by the Employee Orientation & Job Qualification form within the first 60 days of employment. Additional applicable training will be completed by following the individual’s assigned department training matrix, Maintenance (F4400-038).

· Follow training syllabus (Technical from above list). Effectiveness of training guidelines will be determined by employee knowledge and demonstration of learned concepts. Additional training after the first several weeks of on the job training will be determined by the Supervisor in preparation to operate on their own as needed. Any follow up training will be evaluated and provided at the 60 day review or as deemed necessary for the position.
