Receiving Clerk – Inventory & Data Entry

The Receiving Clerk works in both an office and warehouse environment and is responsible for accurately receiving, tracking, and documenting inbound shipments. This role is highly detail-oriented and data-driven, requiring daily, consistent use of Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track receiving appointments and expected deliveries
• Communicate delivery status to the warehouse receiving team
• Inspect inbound shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders
• Document shortages, overages, damages, or quality issues via email, including written explanations and photos
• Enter high volumes of data into Excel spreadsheets and inventory systems daily
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and full inventories
• Adjust stock quantities and reconcile discrepancies using Excel and system reports
• Support inventory audits and reporting as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills are required and will be tested during the hiring process
• Data entry accuracy
• Sorting and filtering
• Basic formulas (addition/subtraction)
• Navigating and updating spreadsheets efficiently
• Comfortable working in Excel for extended periods of time
• Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Hindi required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
