Clinical Supervisor - Adult Services at The Village for Families and Children – Hartford, Connecticut

Location: Greater Hartford, CT Salary: $70,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience)

The Adult Services Clinical Supervisor plays a vital leadership role within our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This position blends direct clinical work with meaningful supervisory responsibilities, ensuring high?quality, client?centered care for adults with complex mental health and substance use needs.

You will guide and support a small team of clinicians, maintain a manageable caseload to stay connected to client care, and help shape program priorities and best practices. • Provide assessments, engagement, and treatment planning for children and families.

• Deliver psychotherapeutic services and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Coordinate discharge planning and connect clients to community supports.

• Offer case management and maintain all required clinical documentation.

• Meet productivity expectations aligned with program standards.

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff and interns, including onboarding, evaluation, and ongoing professional development.

• Support staff in delivering evidence?based, culturally responsive care.

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues to address client and program needs.

• Participate in Quality Assurance and Utilization Review processes.

• Lead or contribute to special projects, committees, and agency initiatives.

• Work with internal and external partners to coordinate care and monitor outcomes.

• Represent The Village in community groups and strengthen local partnerships.

• Help identify service gaps and develop innovative approaches to meet client needs.

• Engage in ongoing training and maintain competency in evidence?based models.

• Partner with your supervisor to set and pursue professional development goals.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical counseling field.

• Active CT clinical licensure required.

• Minimum three years of experience working with children and families.

• Supervisory experience preferred.

• Bilingual/bicultural skills highly valued.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to serving diverse communities.

• Ability to safely provide services in various settings, including client homes.
