The position requires balancing team development, quality assurance, and revenue optimization while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while supporting clients across multiple U.S. time zones.Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage insurance operations teams, including supervisors and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with internal and client procedures
- Oversee staff performance, conduct reviews, address HR matters, and facilitate professional growth opportunities
- Develop and implement processes and strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations and enhance client satisfaction
- Manage client relationships, lead new client development, and maintain ongoing communication for performance improvement
- Identify revenue enhancement opportunities and implement operational improvements
- Conduct training initiatives to keep teams current on changes in processes, regulations, and client requirements
- 6+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) experience in a leadership role
- Experience managing teams of 50+ employees
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, and commercial insurance operations
- Expertise in both professional billing (PB) and hospital billing (HB)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms such as Epic, MEDITECH Expanse, or HealthQuest
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: experience with Waystar or Experian RCM platforms, and rural or critical access hospital environments
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
