About This Position
With little supervision, this role will be responsible for designing, installing, and overseeing operation of environmental remediation systems, ensuring that all plans are accurately followed and adhered to Cameron-Cole guidelines and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills to work with colleagues and clients. This role will report to a Director and is accountable to the Senior Staff.
This person should have strong client relationships and project management skills, and broad experience in California and/or Florida with environmental projects including contaminated site restoration subsurface investigations, and environmental permitting and compliance (air/water/waste).

Essential job functions include:
- Excellent communication with demonstrated advanced writing skillsBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key clients by providing technical expertise, attending client meetings, and leading project developmentsManage assigned projects, including budget tracking, invoice approval, and team management, and provide high-level consultingParticipate in the proposal and budget creation processDesign and operate remediation systems in accordance with state and local requirementsWriting and preparation of reports and presentations, including tables, charts, and graphsProvide technical direction and oversight as well as mentoring and training to junior-level staffField oversight of subsurface investigations, pilot tests, and other environmental projects

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited universityProgressive experience with Remediation in environmental consultingRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) in CaliforniaAbility to obtain registrations in other statesOSHA HAZWOPR 40-hour (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)A valid Driver's License

Work Environment:
The position operates in a dynamic and highly collaborative working environment. This role is preferred as an in-office or hybrid working arrangement with some in-office presence, but the role can be performed from a home office, anywhere in the United States, and is based out of our Alameda, California Location. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
