We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods.
City Supply Corp is a locally owned wholesale distributor of plumbing materials, PVF products, and hydronic heating equipment proudly serving mechanical contractors, plumbing contractors, and service professionals in Iowa since 1952.
We are located just south of downtown Des Moines operating out of a 103,000 square foot office and warehouse.

Position: Warehouse Manager
Compensation: Competitive Salary based on experience. We also offer a strong benefit package including 401k, with company match, health & dental care.
Experience: 5 years of Team Leadership experience leadership is preferred.
Requirements:Job Duties:
· Product/inventory control and placement.
o Research differences discovered during cycle counts.
o Review all delivery tickets for accuracy, specifically address, names and products.
o Manage Billed and Stored customer materials.
o Take an active role in redesigning Warehouse and material locations as needed.
· Schedule outbound and inbound deliveries.
· Coordinate delivery and pick up appointments with sales.
o Create or add to existing orders when requested by customers.
o Prepare for the next day’s workload daily, including personnel assignments for the day.
· Communicate and interact with customers daily.
· Schedule maintenance on Delivery trucks, forklifts, overhead doors and overhead crane, plus any other warehouse needs.
· Conduct warehouse personnel meetings on safety, goals and other relevant topics.
· Conduct annual warehouse personnel reviews.
· Conduct necessary training (Forklift, safety, etc.).
· Conduct interviews for potential warehouse personnel.
· Display and perform proficiency with basic computer software.
· Perform standard personnel management duties such as conflict resolution and personnel disciplinary actions as needed.
· Must be comfortable and willing to shift priorities on the fly.
· Must be able to adapt to random changes in upper management’s accessibility.
